Collaboration with KGNU Community Radio

In honor of Immigrant Heritage Month, Motus Theater and KGNU Community Radio are in collaboration on three radio shows featuring autobiographical monologues from Motus Theater’s UndocuAmerica Media & Performance Project.

Starting on June 13th, tune in to KGNU to listen to the monologues of six Motus UndocuMonologues' writers/performers sharing their story with musical responses by jazz legend Robert Johnson.

Motus Theater’s mission is to create original theater to facilitate dialogue on critical issues of our time. Motus’ UndocuAmerica Media & Performance Project challenges the dehumanizing portrayals of immigrants through performances which combine stories from the heart with powerful musical responses. With the help of KGNU, the stories of undocumented leaders have transcended the stage to the homes of listeners like you.

We’d like to take this time to give a very special thank you to KGNU Community Radio for helping us amplify the stories of undocumented leaders. Thank you for listening and be sure to share the stories with your friends and family!
